Breast surgery

Breast surgery is one of the most often performed types of plastic surgery. The need for breast remodelling is not merely aesthetic, but is also present where other kinds of surgery have left serious scars.  We must not overlook the importance that a well-shaped breast has in the well being and self-image of a woman.

There are two areas that can be improved by way of surgery: volume and ptosis, the perkiness whic is dictated by the degree of stretching of the breast's skin.

Reductive mastoplasty and breast lifting tend to leave more readily visible scars, as incisions need to be made below the areola as well as under the breast itself, and the body part's natural fold cannot readily hide such scars.
